Zelda | Art Noveau Watercolor
One of the biggest projects I’ve completed to date, this painting is a fun spin on Alphonse Mucha’s The Seasons series. Pictured is Zelda from Nintendo’s The Legend of Zelda series—specifically an homage to Breath of the Wild.
In this painting, Zelda imitates the pose of the season Summer. The flower, the white princess, is a reoccurring symbol of Zelda herself throughout the story, and replicates the flowers used in Mucha’s original image.
This project took about 3 weeks to complete, and was created using water colors and gouache.
